CLASS (Christian Leaders, Authors and Speakers Services) has been training and supporting Christian leaders in communications skills, ministry building tools and spiritual encouragement for 25 years. One of their primary outreaches is the Class Seminar Conference.

A personal note from Kim Wier:

You may be wondering why ENGAGING WOMEN is promoting this event. We do not recieve a commission or benefits from your atttendence. At most of our own confernces we are approached by people who desire to use their stories and gifts in ministry, but don't know where to start. My advice is always to point them to CLASS because I know from personal experience how valuable what they offer really is.

CLASS was essential to the success of this ministry is several ways. First, they provided needed training in both speaking and writing organization. I recieved both group and individual assesments that were invaluable. CLASS also opened to me the process by which the publishing industry operates and then, MORE IMPORTANTLY, as my association with CLASS continued, they provided ACCESS TO THE PUBLISHING WORLD that is not availabe in any other way. Through the CLASS Reunion conference, available to CLASS Seminar graduates, I was able to meet face to face with publishers to present ideas and proposals and I was prepared for that next step. In an industry that no longer even accepts unsolicited manuscripts, face to face meetings with unpublished authors are almost unheard of...but not for CLASS graduates.
